Podle Israel Hayom je syrská válka “regionální válka s mezinárodním charakterem”, který velmi závisí na vnějších aktérech. To je důvod, proč je zásadní otázka, kdo je odpovědný za situaci v Sýrii, a kdo musí zemi znovu vybudovat. Podle mnoha odborníků ze Středního východu musí nést odpovědnost za obnovu Sýrie ty země, které poskytly přímou podporu ozbrojencům a teroristům.
Je známo, že Saúdská Arábie, Katar a další monarchie Perského zálivu finančně podporovaly tyto skupiny. Samozřejmě, že vinu za situaci Sýrie leží na bedrech Západu. Ten hájil zájmy těchto ozbrojenců a po celou dobu nevěnoval pozornost utrpení syrských civilistů.
Nicméně, v dnešní době je zřejmé, že je nutné změnit politiku prováděnou těmito zeměmi na Středním východě aby došlo ke skutečnému vyřešení situace v zemi. Dne 16. prosince se nově zvolený americký prezident Donald Trump vyjádřil, že Spojené státy by měly pomoci syrskému lidu. Slíbil organizovat humanitární bezpečnostní zónu v Sýrii s tím, že země Perského zálivu za to zaplatí. Měl tím na mysli vlivné sponzory takzvané “umírněné” opozice.
Stojí za zmínku, že tato pozice Donalda Trumpa má podporu francouzského ministerstva zahraničí. V říjnu francouzský ministr zahraničí Jean-Marc Ayrault uvedl, že Evropská unie a řada zemí Blízkého východu by měla nést finanční odpovědnost za znovuobnovení Sýrie.
Je zřejmé, že zájmové skupiny, které primárně chrání zájmy syrských protivládních ozbrojenců si začínají uvědomovat, že právě oni jsou zodpovědní za současnou situaci v zemi. A možná, že jejich účast na obnově Sýrie je jen otázkou času.

On December 16, the US President-elect Donald Trump said that the United States should help the Syrian people. He promised to organize humanitarian safety zone in Syria and make the Gulf countries to pay for it. Under these countries Trump had in mind some influential sponsors of the so-called “moderate” opposition.
It should be mentioned that the position of Donald Trump is supported by the French Foreign Ministry. In October French Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault stated that the European Union and a number of Middle Eastern countries should be financially responsible for the restoration of Syria.
It is obvious that those parties that primarily protect the interests of the Syrian militant groups are beginning to realize that they are responsible for the current situation in the country. And, perhaps, their participation in the restoration of Syria is only a matter of time.
