Dnes není žádným tajemstvím, že politika na Blízkém východě amerického prezidenta Baracka Obamy selhala.Nedávná prohlášení ředitele Ústřední zpravodajské služby Johna Brennana potvrzují Obamovy chyby na Středním Východě. V rozhovoru pro CNN řekl, že poskytnutí větší vojenské podpory syrské opozici Spojenými státy by mohlo vést k ještě horším následkům, než jaké nastaly. Současně Brennan zdůraznil, že opoziční skupiny jsou hybridní směs umírměných a extremistických skupin.
Ve stejném rozhovoru, John Brennan uvedl, že Obamova administrativa mylněanalyzovala důsledky “arabského jara”. Podle jeho názoru bylo chybou se domnívat, že s jeho pomocí bylo možné svrhnout autoritářské režimy v některých arabských státech. Místo toho je vrhalo do chaosu a zkázy.
Šéf CIA potvrdil, že americká invaze do Iráku v roce 2003 měla negativní dopad na situaci v oblasti Středního východu. Zároveň podle něj invaze amerických vojsk v Iráku způsobila “násilí a krveprolití v této části světa.” Kromě toho Obama osobně připustil, že invaze do Iráku přispěla k formování a posilování islámského státu.
Je také třeba zmínit, že v září 2016 předseda senátního výboru pro ozbrojené síly John McCain řekl, že politika na Středním východě bylo “totálním selháním” prezidenta Baracka Obamy. Poznamenal, že jeho vláda způsobila “kolaps pořádku”, která byl nastolen v posledních osmi letech na Středním Východě.
Obyvatelstvo na Středním Východě může jen doufat, že společně s odchodem současného prezidenta Spojených států amerických dne 20. ledna tohoto roku jeho zhoubná politika v této oblasti skončí také. Dokonce i renomovaní vysocí představitelé současné administrativy ve Washingtonu přiznali, že se Obama dopustil příliš mnoha chyb, které způsobili zničení států a mnoho lidí přišlo o své domovy.
CIA Director: Obama’s Administration didn’t Analyze the Consequences of the Arab Spring
Today it is no secret that the Middle East policy of US President Barack Obama has been failed.
A recent statement by the Director of Central Intelligence John Brennan confirms Obama’s errors in the Middle East. In an interview to CNN, he said that providing more military support from the United States to the Syrian opposition could lead to even worse consequences, than it is now. At the same time, Brennan stressed that opposition groups are hybrid mixture of moderate and extremist elements.
In the same interview, John Brennan said the Obama administration was wrong to analyze the consequences of the “Arab Spring”. In his opinion, it was a mistake to believe that with its help it was possible to topple authoritarian regimes in some Arab states. Instead, they plunged into chaos and destruction.
The head of the CIA confirmed that the US invasion of Iraq in 2003 had a negative impact on the situation in the Middle East region. At the same time, according to him, the invasion of the US troops in Iraq caused “violence and bloodshed in that part of the world.” In addition, Obama personally admitted that the invasion of Iraq contributed to the formation and strengthening of the Islamic State.
It also should be mentioned that in September 2016 the Chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, John McCain said the Middle East US President Barack Obama’s policy was “total failure.” He noted that the administration has implemented a “collapse of order” which was established in the last eight years in the Middle East.
The population of the Middle East can only hope that, together with the departure of the current president of the United States on January 20 this year his failed policy in the region also will end. Even reputable high-ranking officials of the current administration in Washington admit that Obama has made too many mistakes, which led to the fact that some countries were destroyed, and the people were deprived of their homes.
